Enefit will notify the insurer of the addition of an insured person as soon as you have expressed your wish to enter into an insurance contract. If you wish to withdraw from the insurance contract, Enefit will inform the insurer of the respective request submitted by you. The insurance cover will end if you terminate your electricity or gas contract or if the insurance contract between Enefit and the insurer expires. Enefit will notify you immediately of the termination of your insurance contract.

Yes. Your electricity or gas contract and insurance coverage are linked. Only customers with our electricity and gas contracts can connect to Enefit's insurance solution. Therefore, if you want to change your energy seller, the insurance cover supplied by Enefit will end with the termination of your Enefit service contract.

Yes. Home insurance is not an obstacle to connecting to Enefit's insurance solution. The insurance cover provided by Enefit can offer you several additional benefits.

The insurance cover includes electrical equipment located at the place of insurance: TV, computer, laptop, landline telephone, washing machine, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, fire and security alarm equipment, electric heating and ventilation equipment, heating equipment, etc.

Insurance covers any sudden and unforeseeable malfunction of electrical equipment due to external circumstances. For example:

• Lightning
• Short-circuit
• Overload
• Overvoltage or undervoltage

In addition to repair of electrical equipment, insurance also covers the following:

• troubleshooting of malfunctioning electrical equipment and electrician call-out costs;
• costs associated with the installation of domestic electrical installations (wiring, plugs, fuses, distribution boards, junction boxes, etc).

Coverage amounts – PLUS package

• Equipment is insured for a total of €2,000 (per insured event)
• Work of a technician is insured for a total of €200 (per insured event)
• Troubleshooting costs (if it is found not to be an insured even under electrical equipment insurance) are insured for a total of €200 (per insured event)

Excess

• In the event of electrical equipment malfunction €50
• In the event of electrician call-out €0

The number of insured events per year is unlimited.

• Equipment is insured for a total of €4,000 (per insured event)
• Work of a technician is insured for a total of €400 (per insured event)
• Troubleshooting costs (if it is found not to be an insured even under electrical equipment insurance) are insured for a total of €400 (per insured event)

Excess

• In the event of electrical equipment malfunction €50
• In the event of electrician call-out €0

The number of insured events per year is unlimited.

Fire insurance provides you with financial compensation of up to €10,000 to cover the cost of restoring your apartment, house, holiday home or other residential building if the following are damaged by fire:

• main structures of the building (walls, floors, stairs, roof);
• interior finishing, built-in furniture, sanitary ware; heating and gas equipment;
• electrical system or the built-in alarm, communication and sound system;
• heating chamber or fireplace.

Terms and conditions of insurance (PDF)

If you already have home insurance, our fire insurance will also cover:

• reasonable medical expenses for you and your family members if the fire has caused a health problem, the treatment of which is not covered by standard health insurance;
• up to 60 days of lost income due to incapacity for work caused by a health problem resulting from the fire, for you or your family members;
• third party claims against you arising from legal liability related to the fire;
• rental costs for up to four months in the total amount of €500 per month if your home has become uninhabitable.

• Financial compensation of up to €10,000
• Fast disbursement: €2,000 within three working days to cover initial costs

Excess:

• €0
